Subject: Bring Recycling to Caldwell

I have recently moved into Canyon county and discovered that we do not have the option to recycle. A majority of what goes into our trash daily can be recycled helping replenish our resources and lower the amount of waste headed to our landfill. I think it would only benefit our community if we implimented recycling here in Canyon County.

There is a recycling bin in Caldwell, at Rite Aid. (has that changed?) I agree, every city should have curbside pickup. The elderly in particular have trouble getting their stuff to the drop off bins.

Boise recycling no longer needs to segregate their recycling goods, but we still have no recycling in Caldwell. I have to literally drive my recycling goods to nampa to have them picked up at a neigbors house. And that makes it the only very dedicated willing to recycle. I still find it very hard to do it with a newborn baby and kids! Please bring recyling to caldwell-I'll even segregate mine! I believe we use the same garbage trucks that nampa uses to recycle...why can't they do it???? HOw do I go about getting it started? Anyone know?
